서울을 기반으로 활동이주영은 언어를 기호 자체를 넘어선 행위를 실행하는 주체로 바라보며, 발화 상황과 맥락의 변형에 주목한다. 작가는 탈진실적 언어 범람 환경에서 권력 인식 방법을 언어 행위로 접근하며, 화자와 청자 사이 시공간 속에서 언어가 변모하고 권력이 생성, 행사되고 왜곡되는 지점들을 관찰하여 평면작업, 공간설치, 그리고 내레이션 등으로 표현하고 있다.

&#38;lt;너머&#38;gt;(2023)와 &#38;lt;부서진 시&#38;gt;(2023)의 감상에는 관람자로 하여금 읽어내려는 행위에서 몸(신체), 움직임을 경험하게 한다.&#38;nbsp;절취선을 따라 종이를 뜯는 의식적 행위를 수반하는 &#38;lt;너머&#38;gt;는&#38;nbsp;시의 흐름에 따라 천천히 분리되고 찢겨 나가는 종이가&#38;nbsp;작품 속 텍스트를 완성하는 데 있어 주축으로서 기능한다. 또한&#38;nbsp;나무계단을 올라 관람자가 직접 구체시의 일원이 되기도 하는 &#38;lt;부서진 시&#38;gt;는 고정된 문자가 구어적으로 뻗어나가는 언어의 형상을 인식하게 한다.&#38;nbsp;결과적으로 언어는 우리에게 자유, 행위, 수행, 그리고 책무를 현재진행형으로 일임하는 셈이다.

고지적인 측면을 갖는 다이어그램을 시작점과 끝점이 사라진, 방향성이 없는, 그리고 무한하게 확장되어 가는 형태만을 남겨 언어가 가진 스스로의 자율성과 연속성을 형상화하는 드로잉이다. 동시에 행위 안에 맥락으로써 언어를 나타내며, 대상적 의미보다 매체적 언어를 묘사하는 구체시에 관해 연구한다.

Jooyoung Lee focuses on the process of perception through language in the post-truth era. Lee interrogates issues, particularly concerning the disconnection and bigotry belief, in individuals, groups, and society.&#38;nbsp;&#38;lt;Blackwater&#38;gt; is the installation work using human movement and space based on language data in the news. Using poetic drawing, sound, and object, Lee examines how the omnipresent media language affects daily life. This presents&#38;nbsp;a contemplative poetic space in combination with the poem-sound work &#38;lt;Wavelike Truth, With a Gust of Wind&#38;gt;. Lee encourages the audience to move by themselves and hopes they explore and critique the distortion of truth and established passive perceptions.

&#38;lt;검은 물&#38;gt;은 뉴스에서 다루어지는 언어 데이터를 토대로 공간과 동선을 이용한 설치작업이다. 탈진실 시대에 무한하게 생산, 배포되는 뉴스와 허위정보, 그안에서 발견되는 왜곡적인 언어형식들에 대한 은유적 시를 기반으로, 만능적인 매체 언어가 일상에서 체현되는 점을 시적 드로잉, 텍스트, 벽돌 오브제 등의 다양한 형태로 전환한다. 이는 시-사운드작업 &#38;lt;파도같은 진실, 거센 바람과 함께&#38;gt;와 어우러져 하나의 사색적인 시적 공간을 제시한다. 이들은 관람자에게 스스로 동선을 이끌어내면서 왜곡과 수동화된 인식을 탐구하고 비판할 수 있도록 유도한다.

&#38;lt;대화&#38;gt;는 언어로 이루어진 대화, 관계 속에서의 단상을 포착한 작업으로 우리는 어떤 언어로 대화하고 그 성질은 어떠할까 라는 생각에서 오브제의 물성을 대화에 빗대어 표현한 작품이다. 6개의 투명한 상자안에 담긴 각 오브제는 서로 주고 받지만 금새 엇나가 버리는 탁구공, 서로의 힘으로 당기면서 늘어나고 멀어지고 줄어들고 가까워지는 용수철, 쌓을 수 있지만 순식간에 무너져버리는 모래, 잠식되어 버리는 기름종이, 공허하며 메아리가 울리는 텅 빈 곳, 얽히고 설켜 풀기 어렵지만 가벼운 철수세미이다.
